Obama vs. Romney II: Brawl at the Hall

Obama vs. Romney

President Obama and Governor Romney will engage in another debate tonight from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  Most people agreed that Romney won the first debate, so President Obama will likely be very energetic tonight.  For this assignment, I would like you to watch the debate and write a post to this blog.  After you write your own post, please reply to THREE other posts.  Please remember to keep your posts appropriate!  Arguing is fine, but please remember to attack the person's argument, not the person!  Here are some questions to get you thinking:

  • How does this debate compare to the last one?
  • Who is doing a better job answering questions?  Who's winning? Why?
  • What did you think of the questions?  Did the citizens do a good job?

They arnt arguing as much as the other debate yet which i like better. I think that after this debate the people who arnt sure who to vote for yet wil deffinitly know.

  41. Romney was trying to blame the president for doing wrong just because of the pipe line? He obviously did it for a good reason. He is explaining how Romney is wrong, which is true. Romney doesn't know what he's talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm finding it kinda funny how they are cutting each other off... but anyways I agree with romney on the tax part because he wants to cut taxes for everyone, not just making it higher or lower for people.

    1. I agree.. Obama is just saying what we want to hear. But he won't actually do it... thats what happend four years ago.

  73. This debate is just them telling each other how they both lie. Politics is lying followed by more lies. They're both wrong but I feel Romney is more genuine.

    1. I think Romney would actually try harder to make his promises or statements true because he knew what happened the last 4 years

  76. How come they always talk about middle class people

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is the class with the most people in it i think..

      Delete
    2. I think it's because there are a lot more middle class families than there are lower class and higher class families.

      Delete
    3. because mid class have harder times than upper class

      Delete
    4. Because a large percent of Americans are middle class.

      Delete
    5. I think it's because the middle class is like the people that make the country what it is today.

      Delete
    6. I dont know for sure but maybe because most people are middle class.

      Delete
  77. I think they should lower taxes for the less wealthy but rise the taxes slightly for the more wealthy only because if you lower taxes then the government will get less money than what they need to boost the economy and make it better.

  79. Romney keeps acting like America got worse just because Obama was president? He keeps on saying "Unlike the last 4 years I will..." like, no. Obama will most likely fix the taxes. Honestly, Romney just needs to understand that it woldn't be fair to people with less money.

    ReplyDelete
  80. they always talk about the middle class people because it makes up the voting base.

    ReplyDelete
  81. They're both trying harder this time because people from a town or city is asking the questions.
